Moose Country Adventures is based out of the town of Roddickton, in Newfoundland, Canada. Due to the density of the moose population in the area, Roddickton, which is located in northern Newfoundland, has become internationally known as the "Moose capital of the World". In addition to moose, this area is also home to a healthy population of Caribou and Black Bear. Moose Country Adventures is one of Newfoundland's most diversified sporting operations offering big game hunting, sports fishing, snowmobiling and photography.

Rex: Has been bush flying for 32 years and has over 14,000 hours flying mostly in this area and in Labrador.

Ross: Has been involved with marketing and travel for over twenty (20) years. So helping you get here a making your stay a pleasant one is his top priority.

Just five minutes by air from the town of Roddickton. Which is known internationally as the "THE MOOSE CAPITAL OF THE WORLD".

We operate two lodges within twenty (20) miles from the town of Roddickton. During Summer one is accessible by road and the other by float plane. In Winter both lodges are accessible by snow machine.

There are a variety of hunting and fishing packages available. Contact Moose Country Adventures for full details. We also specialize in snowmobiling and eco-tourism. Any of those packages can be tailored to fit your requirements.

We have some of the best big game hunting that can be found east of Alaska. Our Moose population is considered to be the densest in the world with Government Officials putting the number of Moose in this area alone at over 7000, with a total island population of some 150,000 animals. If fishing is your game, our coastal rivers abound with the majestic Atlantic Salmon and our inland lakes and streams are naturally stocked with Brook Trout running up to 5 lbs. and Arctic Char that tip the scales at over 9 lbs. (Click Here)

Moose Country Adventures offers a full range of day, week, and bi-weekly snowmobiling adventures that lead to untouched, unspoiled wilderness. You will be using recent model utility, or touring snowmobiles (VK540, Venture 600, Skandic), and be guided by an experienced snowmobiler, with the assistance of map and compass and GPS. (Click here)
